What you will do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Manage Azure-based data assets, including Blob Storage, SQL tables, stored procedures, and serverless views.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes, applying data normalization, transformations, and quality checks.
• Maintain Power BI semantic models and troubleshoot performance for hybrid SQL and parquet datasets.
• Monitor pipeline performance, investigate issues, and resolve them according to predefined procedures.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement and optimize emerging Azure data platform features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or analytics engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and API integrations.
• Strong SQL skills, including schema design, indexing, and query tuning for Azure SQL Database.
• Experience building Azure Data Factory pipelines and working with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with Azure Blob Storage, Function Apps, and modern data warehousing concepts.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or broader data fabric technologies.
• Experience supporting Power BI semantic models.
• Knowledge of hybrid data architectures.
