TL;DR

Director of Business Development (Web3): Building and scaling go‑to‑market strategies and strategic partnerships for hirify.global Cloud’s crypto‑native infrastructure and payment rails with an accent on agentic payments and AI-driven transactions. Focus on sourcing high-value B2B deals, expanding the ecosystem of exchanges and wallets, and shaping the product roadmap for crypto IaaS.

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates within commutable distance to offices in Toronto, Sarasota, Miami, or Washington D.C.)

Salary: $225,000 - $275,000 USD base + benefits + equity

What you will do

  • Define and execute the BD strategy for crypto IaaS and payment infrastructure targeting neobanks, DeFi, and AI agent platforms.
  • Source and close high-value B2B deals to drive GPU/compute utilization and transaction volume.
  • Structure commercial models for agentic payments, including usage-based and revenue-share economics.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to refine the roadmap for RPC, settlement, custody, and compliance features.
  • Represent the company at industry events to build and maintain C-level relationships within the crypto and AI ecosystems.
  • Coordinate joint offering roadmaps and marketing activities with key partners like Tether.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales within crypto, payments, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value B2B deals.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain primitives (L1/L2, wallets, stablecoins, DeFi) and fiat payment systems.
  • Strong grasp of emerging agentic payment models and AI agent payment flows.
  • Ability to operate in technical environments involving GPUs, cloud infra, APIs, and SLAs.
  • Entrepreneurial "hunter" mindset with the ability to build a business line from 0 to 1.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience at a crypto exchange, payment processor, wallet provider, or AI infrastructure company.
