What you will do

  • Drive federal legislative and regulatory agendas in Washington, D.C. in partnership with the VP of Government Affairs.
  • Design and execute engagement strategies for the Executive Branch (DOL, FTC, USDA) and Congress.
  • Manage external lobbying teams and consultants to ensure strategic alignment and high ROI.
  • Coordinate participation in industry trade associations and strategic alliances.
  • Translate proposed federal legislation and regulations into actionable business intelligence for internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee a diverse policy portfolio including labor, workforce modernization, and food security initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in federal policy, government affairs, or advocacy work.
  • Deep understanding of Capitol Hill and federal agencies with a track record as a legislative or executive branch staffer.
  • Must be based full-time in Washington, D.C.
  • Experience working with gig economy companies or deep expertise in labor or food policy.
  • Ability to translate complex regulations into business strategy.
