Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with Growth team to develop and execute government relations strategy focused on securing congressional support and funding for key programs.
• Lead authorization and appropriations efforts in the Senate, identifying and advancing policy and funding opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with legislative stakeholders to influence policies supporting CHAOS technologies.
• Provide insights and guidance to program and executive teams on congressional activity, funding, and policy developments.
• Support political engagement, including PAC coordination and attendance at key events.
• Represent CHAOS on Capitol Hill, attending hearings, briefing staff, and preparing leadership for engagements.

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent with minimum 12 years relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with minimum 10 years experience.
• Active Security Clearance.
• Understand legislative processes for annual appropriations cycle and National Defense Authorization Act.
• Previous Senate experience working on annual appropriations bills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in corporate government affairs office.
• Results-oriented self-starter for fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes.
• Experience as staff for Senate defense appropriator or Senate Appropriations Defense Subcommittee.
