What you will do
- Perform hands-on silicon bring-up and post-silicon debug activities across analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed designs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with silicon design, marketing, and test engineering teams to identify, analyze, and resolve validation issues.
- Define, develop, and execute validation tests to identify coverage gaps and ensure product reliability.
- Develop and review software and scripts using Python, C, and C++ for bench automation, data collection, and analysis.
- Propose innovative validation methodologies and metrology to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generate and present detailed validation reports, including test results and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (3β5 years exp) or Masterβs degree (2β3 years exp).
- Professional experience in post-silicon validation, RF, microwave, or optical interconnect validation.
- Solid understanding of silicon validation for mixed-signal, analog, and digital ICs.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Python for test automation and data analysis.
- Expertise with high-speed test equipment: Spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscopes (jitter/noise analysis), VNA, BERT, and AWG.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
Nice to have
- Understanding of test metrology for high-speed custom and standards-compliant SerDes products.
- Ability to analyze and identify sources of noise and jitter in high-speed systems.
- Familiarity with optical components, Silicon Photonics devices, and RF/microwave interconnects.
- Experience with high-speed on-wafer probing.
