What you will do

• Design, prototype, and improve Python-based hardware validation tests for microwave/RF control electronics.
• Architect new testing frameworks and expand the scope of control electronics testing.
• Perform system-level and subsystem-level tests of RF/microwave hardware using FPGA signal generation and acquisition.
• Assemble and troubleshoot microwave RF subassemblies and modules.
• Detail designs and document testing and prototyping procedures.
• Assist with development projects and perform maintenance on control systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong competency in Python.
• Experience operating microwave test equipment such as VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.
• Experience with the assembly and testing of microwave subassemblies.
• Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
