What you will do
- Design, prototype, and improve Python-based hardware validation tests for microwave/RF control electronics.
- Architect new testing frameworks and expand the scope of control electronics testing.
- Perform system-level and subsystem-level tests of RF/microwave hardware using FPGA signal generation and acquisition.
- Assemble and troubleshoot microwave RF subassemblies and modules.
- Detail designs and document testing and prototyping procedures.
- Assist with development projects and perform maintenance on control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent experience.
- Strong competency in Python.
- Experience operating microwave test equipment such as VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.
- Experience with the assembly and testing of microwave subassemblies.
- Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
