IT Support Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Brighton, UK. Must be office-based 4-5 days per week

What you will do

• Respond to user support requests via Jira, Slack, and in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Install and maintain computer peripherals, OS updates, and software upgrades.
• Manage user accounts across multiple platforms and maintain the asset register.
• Set up equipment for new joiners and assist with office relocations.
• Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours support.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT support engineer or technician.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.
• Experience with Intune, Autopilot, and macOS.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work after hours as required.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Brighton for 4-5 days a week.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SQL and data administration.
• Experience with OS patching and upgrade management.
• Knowledge of IT Security frameworks such as ISO27001 or NIST.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Palo Alto networking.
• IT-related certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, etc).
