TL;DR
Senior Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity): Driving technical sales and solution architecture for insider threat detection and workforce intelligence platforms with an accent on POV/POC execution and cross-functional leadership. What you will do
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations for insider threat detection, DLP, and user behavior analytics (UBA).
- Lead technical discovery sessions to identify prospect pain points and compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR).
- Own and execute proof-of-value (POV) and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, including environment setup and agent configuration.
- Plan deployments across on-premise, SaaS, and private cloud architectures.
- Partner with Account Executives and relay market intelligence and feature gaps to Product and Engineering teams.
- Mentor team members and develop reusable technical collateral, battle cards, and onboarding guides.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting within a B2B SaaS company.
- Hands-on proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, including server administration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS deployment models.
- Experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Ability to configure APIs and use scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
- English: Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Cybersecurity or DLP platforms (e.g., Proofpoint, DTEX, Varonis, Forcepoint).
- Proficiency in Spanish.
- Experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM systems.
- Familiarity with diagramming tools like Lucidchart or Visio.
