Salary: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Lead and direct small crews while maintaining a positive attitude on site.
• Manage the installation of brick driveways, patios, interlocking stone, decks, and fencing.
• Read construction plans, set grades, and oversee the use of various building products.
• Ensure projects stay on track, within the estimate scope, and maintain strict quality control.
• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, skid steers, and mini excavators.
• Handle winter snow removal and spring parking lot sweeping as part of full-time duties.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven experience in landscape construction or carpentry environments.
• Previous experience in a leadership role managing job sites and solving problems.
• Valid class G license with a clean abstract (must provide copy during interview).
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and knowledge of safe handling procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Must be based in or able to work in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Nice to have

• Additional class license (DZ or higher).
• Willingness to obtain higher class licenses in the future.
