What you will do

• Assist in design, development, implementation, installation, testing, validation, and startup of automation projects.
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and vision systems, including root cause analysis for downtime.
• Create and maintain process documentation like work instructions, PFMEAs, and control plans.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to support daily operations.
• Collect and analyze production data to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and increase OEE.
• Support capital equipment projects with vendor coordination and basic tracking; participate in Lean and Six Sigma improvements.

Requirements

• Technical degree or certification in electrical or mechanical engineering technology.
• 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing automation.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, HMIs, and vision systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading projects and working with external vendors.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
