Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 CAD

What you will do

• Manage and implement diverse engineering design and consulting projects.
• Conduct building and fire code reviews, including plan reviews and site visits.
• Develop fire protection strategies and performance-based design solutions to resolve client issues.
• Prepare and peer-review technical project reports.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Support business development activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in code consulting and fire suppression/alarm system design.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in building code concepts, equivalencies, and field inspections.
• Must be based in or able to work from Burnaby, BC or Calgary, AB.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation.
