What you will do

• Lead maintenance teams to minimize production failures through correct diagnosis and rapid intervention.
• Provide technical hands-on support on the production floor (70%+ of the time).
• Manage direct reports, coordinating schedules and assigning responsibilities as a shift leader.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance actions to uphold equipment reliability.
• Oversee HSE standards and report incidents to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage maintenance information systems and technical documentation for the assigned area.

Requirements

• Must be based in or eligible to work in Ontario, Canada.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or as a hands-on engineering technician.
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Trade (442a), Millwright (433a), or a relevant technician diploma.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including days and nights.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLC, VFD, sensors, and High Frequency heating equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and motors.
• Proficiency with SAP.
