Contract Administrator (RCCA)

TL;DR

Contract Administrator (RCCA): Administering Ministry of Transportation contracts for large-scale highway construction projects with an accent on monitoring compliance, quality control, and budget management. Salary: $75,000 – $110,000 annually

What you will do

• Administer MTO contracts through monitoring, correspondence, and attending meetings
• Supervise inspection staff, provide training, coordinate activities, and ensure timely deliverables
• Maintain client and contractor relationships
• Perform quality control of deliverables to meet Ministry standards and maintain accurate records
• Manage budget control, review timesheets and expenses, and report status weekly
• Manage subconsultant agreements

Requirements

• RCCA (Road Construction Contract Administrator) certification with OACETT
• Completed postsecondary program, preferably in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 previous MTO or Municipal projects as Contract Administrator (5 is an asset)
• Superior organizational, multi-tasking, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid Class G driver’s licence and use of a personal vehicle
