Salary: $119,000 - $177,000 USD

What you will do

  • Serve as the technical lead for cross-functional projects and drive strategic engineering initiatives.
  • Define product features, requirements, and detailed mechanical designs focusing on size, cost, and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure successful product bring-up and integration.
  • Manage product compliance and certification with external testing laboratories.
  • Lead manufacturing transfer and pilot manufacturing activities.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, CAD tools (Solidworks preferred), and manufacturing process development.
  • 5+ years of experience designing injection molded assemblies.
  • Proven experience with high-volume disposable medical devices across all development phases.
  • Must be able to work hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA (3-5 days per week).

Nice to have

  • Experience with soft goods (textiles).
