What you will do

• Develop and modify implant and catheter designs for aortic disease treatment.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to evaluate design interactions and use conditions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and vendors.
• Develop test strategies and execute protocols for regulatory submissions.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineering team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 4+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree).
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Strong background in mechanical design and solid mechanics.
• Ability to perform data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with catheters, stents, and Nitinol materials.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.
• Understanding of reliability engineering and statistical methods.
• Experience with strategic brainstorming and ideation activities.
