What you will do
- Develop and modify implant and catheter designs for aortic disease treatment.
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to evaluate design interactions and use conditions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and vendors.
- Develop test strategies and execute protocols for regulatory submissions.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineering team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- 4+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree).
- Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
- Strong background in mechanical design and solid mechanics.
- Ability to perform data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with catheters, stents, and Nitinol materials.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.
- Understanding of reliability engineering and statistical methods.
- Experience with strategic brainstorming and ideation activities.
