What you will do

• Combine a part-time, accredited Master's program in IT or Data Engineering with practical employment.
• Support data engineers and data scientists in processing, managing, and analyzing data.
• Work with Big Data environments including Google Cloud and on-site Hadoop.
• Apply theoretical knowledge to practical software development and data engineering projects.
• Participate in technical, programming, and soft-skills training.

Requirements

• Completed IT-related Bachelor's or diploma studies with good grades, with a GPA of 2.5 or better.
• Meet the admission requirements of an IT- or data-related Master's program at a university in the Hamburg area.
• Personal software projects demonstrating an interest in software development and data engineering.
• Interest in Big Data ecosystems; experience with Java and Python is advantageous.
• Independent, self-initiated, team-oriented working style with quick comprehension.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required for daily work.
