What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex financial agreements like clearing, crypto services, securities lending, margin, B2B API/SaaS partnerships, derivatives, and vendor contracts.
• Structure innovative partnership arrangements supporting the API-first brokerage model.
• Develop scalable contracting frameworks, templates, and playbooks for global expansion.
• Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, Operations, Finance, InfoSec, and other teams to align deals with regulatory and operational needs.
• Design creative legal structures and provide business-oriented solutions to cross-border issues.
• Contribute to global legal strategy across North America, Europe, MENA, APAC, and LATAM.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with 5-8+ years at financial services institution (bank, broker-dealer, asset manager, FCM, payments, crypto exchange) or supporting law firm
• Strong commercial/transactional experience in financial services.
• Experience negotiating complex financial agreements (clearing, prime brokerage, crypto, derivatives).
• Familiarity with U.S. regulatory regimes (SEC/FINRA, CFTC/NFA)
• Excellent judgment, analytical skills, communication, and ability to own projects end-to-end.
• Comfort with cross-functional, globally distributed teams
