What you will do

• Run various transition projects within the Springer Journal portfolio.
• Act as the central point of contact to ensure clear communication between internal stakeholders in Publishing, Production, Marketing, and Strategy.
• Document processes, guidelines, and create FAQs and narratives on transition best practices.
• Identify potential challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
• Search for opportunities to streamline processes and improve procedures relating to the journal portfolio.
• Provide comprehensive and effective reporting on project progress.

Requirements

• Demonstrable project management experience.
• Experience in change management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders and expectations.
• Understanding of the scholarly publishing landscape, editorial processes, and Open Access initiatives.
• Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and adjust strategies during transitions.

• Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP).
