TL;DR

Account Executive (Utilities & Telco): Driving revenue growth and expanding client relationships within the utilities and telecommunications sectors with an accent on data integrity and software sales. Focus on identifying new business opportunities, leveraging AI-driven sales execution, and managing the full customer lifecycle.

Location: Remote (US). East coast geographic location is preferred, but not required.

What you will do

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within a defined regional territory.
  • Expand relationships with existing customers and own the complete customer lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute business plans to generate pipeline and revenue.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Services teams to create compelling business propositions.
  • Leverage channel partners, distributors, and technology partners to extend market reach and impact.
  • Manage territory forecasts and document sales progress utilizing Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years in enterprise software sales, preferably in SaaS.
  • Working knowledge and selling experience in Data Quality, Location Intelligence, Data Governance, or Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Proficiency in applying generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to automate research and streamline the sales lifecycle.
  • Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated success with value- or outcome-based selling.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%.

  • Experience selling into various industry verticals, specifically positioning data integrity solutions.
  • Successful selling history within a global company with a broad products/services portfolio.
  • Demonstrated experience driving complex sales cycles within a matrixed selling organization.
  • East coast geographic location.
