TL;DR
UK HR Manager: Own the full UK employee experience from onboarding to offboarding with an accent on UK employment law compliance, employee relations, and culture building. Focus on coaching managers, handling performance issues, ensuring HR systems accuracy, and managing London office operations in a fast-growing SaaS contact centre platform.
Location: Hybrid in London, UK. Must be based in/around London with easy access to office near Liverpool Street/Aldgate (2-3 days/week in office). No sponsorship; must have eligibility to work in the UK.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

What you will do
- Own full UK employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring smooth processes and up-to-date HR systems.
- Serve as go-to HR advisor for UK employees on policies, processes, and daily queries.
- Support performance management, sickness, wellbeing, and employee relations, leading PIPs and collaborating on complex cases.
- Apply UK employment law expertise for compliance, with occasional Dutch team guidance.
- Coach managers on people management and contribute to engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives.
- Handle reward, payroll, benefits, annual salary reviews, and London office management.
Requirements
- 3+ years in generalist HR/People role
- Fluent English
- Proven UK employment law knowledge
- Independent, proactive, systematic, structured, and results-driven
- Thrives in fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment with autonomy and ownership
Nice to have
- CIPD Level 3 (ideally Level 5) or equivalent
- SaaS experience
- PE/VC-backed organization experience
- Mergers & Acquisitions experience
- Formal HR education
- Small organization (20-100 employees) or standalone HR experience
- Multi-country HR, especially Netherlands
