What you will do

• Define and execute global People strategy aligned with business growth and objectives.
• Partner with the executive team on organizational design, workforce planning, and long-term talent strategy.
• Lead global HR operations, establishing robust governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with UK and international laws.
• Architect high-impact performance management frameworks and lead succession planning.
• Champion an inclusive, values-led, high-performance culture and manage complex employee relations.
• Enable international expansion through entity setup, EOR models, and cross-border employment frameworks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with significant senior leadership exposure.
• Proven track record of building and scaling HR infrastructure in high-growth startup/scale-up environments.
• Strong expertise in UK employment law.
• Experience partnering closely with founders and executive teams.
• Highly commercial mindset with strong business acumen and executive presence.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Wallingford for at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, robotics, logistics, or SaaS sectors.
• Exposure to funding rounds, M&A activity, or organizational restructuring.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent.
• Experience implementing and optimizing HRIS platforms.
