TL;DR

Mid Market Account Executive (AI): Driving adoption of a legal AI platform for in-house legal teams with an accent on inbound lead qualification and deal closing. Focus on managing the full sales cycle from discovery to procurement for mid-market companies.

Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada. Hybrid schedule (Mon, Wed, Fri) if living within 50 miles of San Mateo, CA or Provo, UT; otherwise remote.

Compensation: $160,000 – $230,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Assess and prioritize inbound leads to determine customer potential and book meetings.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including discovery, demos, and trial management.
  • Partner with the founder to refine pitches and identify key action items.
  • Navigate security questionnaires and procurement processes to close deals quickly.
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities within Hubspot.
  • Continuously optimize sales workflows to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States or Canada.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales.
  • Experience selling technology solutions to legal, HR, or finance departments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling outreach.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage multiple complex deals simultaneously.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in the legal tech industry.
  • AI-native workflow habits (experience using tools like Fathom or Gong).
  • Familiarity with software compliance and vendor qualification (e.g., SOC II).
