TL;DR
Account Executive, Mid-Market (AI SaaS for Pharma): Generating new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, and CROs by offering AI-powered platform for regulatory content generation and workflow management. Focus on outbound prospecting, sales qualification, pipeline management, and closing high-value partnerships to drive platform adoption and hyper growth.
Location: Remote position based in any of the following US metropolitan areas: Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New Brunswick, NYC, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Raleigh. Up to 50% travel for meetings, trade shows, and events.
Salary: $150,000–$185,000 base (OTE $300,000–$370,000) with equity.

What you will do
- Lead generation and prospecting targeting executives in regulatory strategy, operations, medical writing, and tech innovation.
- Execute outbound campaigns via phone, email, and social in partnership with Marketing.
- Qualify prospects, map stakeholders, understand challenges, and position platform solutions.
- Manage sales pipeline from engagement to close, including negotiations and contract presentation.
- Maintain product knowledge, support customer onboarding, and collaborate with Product team.
- Track activities in CRM (HubSpot, Tableau, Salesforce), participate in events, and report metrics.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in business development or software sales in life sciences, pharma, biotech, or clinical research.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- Experience with SaaS or document management solutions and documented contract sales.
- Strong communication to influence senior decision-makers.
- Tech-savvy with CRM and sales tools; self-starter able to meet targets independently.
- Up to 50% travel; US-based in specified metro areas.

- Industry knowledge of regulatory landscape, drug development, FDA/EMA/ICH guidelines.
- Experience selling to startups and biotechs.
