TL;DR

Enterprise Account Executive (Legal AI): Leading the sales cycle for a high-growth legal AI platform targeting sophisticated organizations with an accent on enterprise deal closure and multi-stakeholder navigation. Focus on driving adoption of AI within global legal teams and managing complex procurement and security reviews.

Location: Must be based in the USA or Canada; hybrid option available in San Mateo, California

Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Manage the full enterprise sales cycle from initial outreach and multi-stakeholder discovery to close.
  • Build and manage relationships with General Counsels, Legal Ops Directors, CIOs, and Procurement teams.
  • Lead structured pilots and proof-of-concepts to align technical requirements and ROI with stakeholder needs.
  • Navigate complex deal structures, including security reviews, compliance, redlines, and pricing approvals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions, Legal, and Product teams to optimize the buying experience.
  • Maintain precise forecasting and pipeline management using HubSpot or Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience.
  • At least 3 years closing enterprise deals ($100k–$1M+).
  • Experience selling to Legal, Compliance, or GRC teams or other highly regulated functions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual quotas.
  • Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex technology into clear business outcomes.
  • Must be based in the USA or Canada.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling legal tech, AI, or data-driven workflow automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, DPA, and InfoSec reviews.
  • Experience working in high-growth startups and building enterprise motions.
  • Existing relationships with Fortune 1000 companies or large law firms.
  • AI-native workflow (daily use of ChatGPT, Gong, or Fathom).
