What you will do

• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure correct test operation.
• Prepare samples for testing activities, including marking, board mounting, and preconditioning.
• Conduct reliability tests by unloading, testing, and reloading samples within specified time limits.
• Perform visual inspection of test samples for defects using microscopes.
• Design, build, and maintain test boards and fixtures required for product testing.
• Edit test programs for STi ATE test systems and manage test data in Excel.

Requirements

• 5 GCSEs Level 5 or above, including Maths, English, and a Science subject.
• Familiarity with building test fixtures and soldering techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Bedford, UK.
• Strong awareness of Health and Safety protocols and correct PPE usage.
• Good manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills.
