What you will do

• Design and develop electrical and electronic systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts.
• Perform hands-on build activities such as panel wiring, cable assembly, soldering, and system integration.
• Execute PCB bring-up, debugging, and functional verification activities.
• Integrate and test multi-disciplinary systems combining electronics, software, pneumatics, and mechanics.
• Configure PLCs and contribute to software development using Python and C# for automation scripts and hardware control.
• Maintain technical documentation, Bills of Materials (BOM), and engineering records.

Requirements

• Degree (BEng, MSc, or similar) in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong academic foundation in at least one engineering domain.
• Practical engineering experience gained through academic projects, personal interest, or internships.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and datasheets.
• Must be able to work on-site in Cambridge, England, United Kingdom.
