TL;DR

Marketing Automation Manager (HubSpot): Managing, optimizing, and scaling email marketing and automation programs for a legal AI platform with an accent on HubSpot workflows, nurture campaigns, and triggered communications. Focus on leveraging AI tools for performance improvement, executing A/B tests, and ensuring data hygiene and regulatory compliance.

Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada. Remote role, but follows a hybrid schedule (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) if living within 50 miles of San Mateo, CA or Provo, UT.

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000

What you will do

  • Build and maintain automated workflows, nurture sequences, and triggered campaigns within HubSpot.
  • Create and deploy marketing and lifecycle programs focusing on acquisition, activation, onboarding, and growth.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools for predictive lead scoring, send-time optimization, and subject line generation.
  • Plan and execute A/B tests across the customer journey to drive higher conversion rates.
  • Manage segmentation, data integrations, and database health while ensuring compliance with GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
  • Act as the organization's subject matter expert on marketing automation to scale best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub or a similar Marketing Automation Platform.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email editing.
  • Strong understanding of lead nurture, segmentation, and "next best action" strategies.
  • Experience with CRM systems, data types, logic constructs, and data hygiene.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable campaign insights.
  • Must be based in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

  • Experience working within an early-stage Series A startup environment.
