Salary: $184,000—$230,000 USD (for Tier 1 markets)

What you will do

• Optimize and oversee customer and vendor contracting cycles, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Develop and maintain contracting playbooks, policies, and escalation frameworks.
• Design and implement AI-assisted legal workflows, including prompt templates and automated intake pipelines.
• Monitor and advise the business on regional and national laws and regulations affecting commercial operations.
• Drive continuous improvement of legal department operations and close strategic deals with pragmatic solutions.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and member in good standing of a US state bar.
• 3-5+ years of experience at a top-tier law firm and in-house legal department focusing on commercial and corporate matters.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for contract review, research, and drafting.
• Preference for candidates able to work out of NYC, SF, or Salt Lake City offices on a hybrid basis.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
