TL;DR

Lead Senior Technical Analyst (Healthcare): Leading a team to deliver alerting, analytics, and reporting for a large healthcare platform of 150 Intersystems IRIS servers integrating clinical data from 130 legacy databases with an accent on reverse engineering complex enterprise service bus workflows and defining ETL processes. Focus on troubleshooting error conditions, defining monitoring requirements, automating analytics with Python, and providing statistical analysis of platform performance and integrations.

Location: 100% remote, candidate must reside within the continental US. Ability to obtain/retain government clearance (minimum Public Trust) required. Fingerprinting and background check at government facility.

What you will do

• Reverse engineer and document complex enterprise service bus workflows using HL7, web services, or SFTP interfaces.
• Define requirements for ETL processes and support deployment, testing, and administration across on-premises and cloud repositories.
• Troubleshoot and analyze root causes of errors in enterprise service bus workflows.
• Research and define technical requirements for monitored IRIS methods, alert rules, thresholds, and notifications.
• Automate ETL and analytic functions using Python or VA-authorized languages.
• Provide statistical analysis of integrations, message traffic, performance, faults, and resources; oversee reporting.
• Serve as SME for IRIS platform monitoring, alerting, infrastructure, and logging; support Tier 3 HealthShare issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• Working experience with IRIS code, integration platform components, and message processing workflows for large platforms.
• Minimum 2-3 years professional IT experience under contract with Veterans Administration or other Federal agency.
• Understanding of InterSystems Cache, IRIS, or HealthShare including integrations, productions, namespaces, business hosts, adaptors, ECP, and admin tools.
• Experience with technical analysis and documentation of monitoring/alerting solutions like Splunk, DeepSee, Dynatrace, or CloudWatch.
• Experience with Unix, Apache, AWS, Agile/SAFe, DevOps.

Nice to have

• Python for ETL and/or data science.
• Apache on IRIS platform.
• Automating infrastructure, testing, or deployments with Jenkins, Ansible, or Ansible Python scripting.
