Senior Infrastructure Specialist (Networking)

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing support of infrastructure solutions across multiple client projects.
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot routed, switched, wireless, LTE/cellular, firewall, VPN, and remote-access environments.
• Support infrastructure modernization, upgrades, migrations, expansions, and cutovers while maintaining reliability and operational continuity.
• Design resilient LAN/WAN, high-availability, segmentation, IP addressing, and remote-site connectivity architectures.
• Support Azure, AWS, VMware, virtual networking, operational technology, industrial, utility, and critical infrastructure environments.
• Produce network diagrams, Visio drawings, implementation plans, cut sheets, as-built documentation, standardized configurations, and support processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field, plus at least seven years of technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP, VLANs, STP, RSTP, RPVST+, and VPC.
• Strong experience with IPsec, VPN, secure remote access, LTE/cellular connectivity, packet analysis, and protocol-level troubleshooting.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS networking, cybersecurity, segmentation, firewall policy support, infrastructure hardening, and virtualized infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with technical teams, project managers, field teams, cybersecurity personnel, and clients.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States; background check and drug and alcohol testing are required.
