What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of platform engineers across Infrastructure, DevOps, and Developer Experience.
• Set technical direction for platform architecture and ensure the execution of the roadmap.
• Design and build AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows to automate tasks and boost productivity.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling in a regulated environment.
• Own incident management practices, postmortems, and the sustainability of the on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with product engineering, security, and compliance stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business impact.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• 3+ years of experience managing and growing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, PostgreSQL, and GitOps.
• Experience operating production systems and supporting on-call rotations.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or other regulated environments.
• Prior experience as a Staff or Senior Engineer before moving into management.
• Interest in Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
