What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to drive timely payment and reduce delinquency while maintaining positive relationships.
- Proactively communicate with customers via phone and email to provide payment reminders and support.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and account concerns with urgency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Billing to resolve issues impacting payment and retention.
- Monitor aging reports and prioritize outreach based on customer needs and account risk.
- Utilize Salesforce and NetSuite to manage accounts and track collection activity.
Requirements
- Location: Based in Miami, FL
- 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer account management.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role focused on issue resolution.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience in a subscription-based or SaaS billing environment.
- Familiarity with accounting/collections systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or GetPaid.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of credit risk and financial analysis.
