What you will do

• Qualify AWS opportunities for technical, commercial, and financial viability.
• Design cost-effective AWS solutions across infrastructure, data and AI, and application modernization with technical architects.
• Lead FinOps and cloud cost optimization discussions, including rightsizing, architectural improvements, and AWS pricing models.
• Manage the technical sales lifecycle, including RFPs, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Present technical solutions and economic value to CFOs, CTOs, and other senior stakeholders.
• Conduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews and develop ROI, TCO, and service cost models for local clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technology pre-sales, strategic cloud consulting, or Cloud FinOps.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, WAF, and EKS or ECS.
• Strong command of AWS financial management tools, including Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Compute Optimizer, and Budgets.
• Experience optimizing cloud spend through Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, and storage tiering.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification at Associate or Professional level is essential.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is a significant advantage. Knowledge of the MEA public cloud market and regional regulatory requirements is expected.
