User Researcher (Medtech)

What you will do

• Lead, plan, and execute end-to-end research studies across core product teams to optimize app experience and evaluate features.
• Conduct impactful research using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop hypotheses and validate product ideas.
• Synthesize complex research findings into clear narratives and advocate for the user to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Devices team to evaluate physical hardware ergonomics, setup, and long-term wearability.
• Champion user-centered design and educate the organization on the value of user research.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a user researcher in a commercial product setting.
• Proficiency in research tools such as Maze, Prolific, or UserInterviews.
• Experience with analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Hotjar, or Google Analytics to triangulate behavioral data.
• Professional level English proficiency.
• Must be located in Sweden or eligible for relocation to Sweden.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in health-related or medical product research.
• Knowledge of usability testing for medical devices (EN 62366 standards).
• Fluency in additional languages.
• Curiosity about the application of AI in user research.
