What you will do

• Define and drive the research agenda across multiple product areas to identify high-leverage strategic questions.
• Set organization-wide research standards for study design, rigor, and communication of findings.
• Lead research on complex, strategically important problems using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Execute contextual inquiries, usability testing, longitudinal studies, surveys, and journey mapping.
• Translate end-user behaviors into actionable business decisions for B2B financial institution clients.
• Partner with client-facing teams to frame findings in terms of product strategy, risk, and competitive differentiation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, UX/UI, or a related field.
• 6+ years of user research experience on digital products (web and mobile).
• Proven track record of research that directly shaped product or business strategy.
• Expertise across qualitative and quantitative methodologies with strong judgment on application.
• Experience navigating large, complex organizations and the client-vendor dynamic in enterprise software.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in HCI, cognitive psychology, sociology, or information science.
• Direct experience in fintech, banking, or financial services platforms.
• Experience building or formalizing a research practice from an early stage.
