What you will do

• Lead the design and operation of large-scale data pipelines and analytics on Databricks.
• Architect and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and monitoring systems.
• Drive the adoption of AI, including LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems, in production use cases.
• Support personalized outbound marketing through data integration with platforms like Braze, Mailchimp, and Twilio.
• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and best practices for handling PHI/PII.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, Unity Catalog) and Azure (AKS, Event Hub, Blob Storage).
• Strong experience in large-scale ETL design, schema evolution, and CDC.
• AI fluency including LLMs and agent frameworks for production deployments.
• Python backend development skills using Flask and Poetry.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments and observability.
• Strict adherence to security and compliance mindset, specifically HIPAA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring.
• Prior work in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy.
