What you will do

• Own the technology roadmap, long-term technical vision, and architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure and data models.
• Lead and scale the engineering, QA, technical ops, and architecture teams across multiple geographies.
• Manage the security and compliance posture, including SOC 2 audits and customer security reviews.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, uptime, monitoring, and disaster recovery to ensure high availability.
• Take technical responsibility for field hardware, including turnstiles, open portals, and handheld devices.
• Partner with the CEO, CPO, and CSO as a core member of the executive leadership team to drive company strategy.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
• Prior experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior leader in a SaaS company.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native systems, modern APIs, React, React Native, and .NET.
• Hands-on experience with security, compliance, and SOC 2 audits.
• Proven experience leading distributed teams across multiple geographies.
• Ability to work effectively with overlapping hours in the US Eastern Time (New York) zone.
