Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (depending on experience)

What you will do

• Lead transformation of engineering performance using metrics like deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and cycle time.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to automate tasks and boost productivity.
• Align engineering efforts with Product, Commercial, and Operations teams for business value like revenue growth and cost efficiency.
• Evolve ways of working, simplify processes, and foster collaboration and accountability.
• Track and act on insights to remove bottlenecks across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in high-growth SaaS or tech environments with track record of performance improvements.
• Experience implementing DORA or flow metrics and using data for decision-making.
• Strong understanding of AI-assisted development tools and their impact on productivity.
• Confident stakeholder management linking engineering to commercial outcomes.
• Ability to lead strategically and operationally across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments.
