TL;DR

What you will do
- Lead UK and EU clinical operations to ensure trials are delivered on time, within budget, and in full regulatory compliance.
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of clinical trials across various therapeutic areas, phases, and study designs.
- Build, scale, and mentor high-performing teams, including trial managers and quality/regulatory specialists.
- Develop and refine SOPs, systems, and operational frameworks for scalable study execution.
- Drive the implementation of AI tools and digital workflows to improve trial oversight and efficiency.
- Collaborate with global leadership, product, and commercial teams to align the global delivery strategy.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in clinical trials with direct responsibility for executing and overseeing research projects.
- Deep understanding of MHRA and EMA regulatory frameworks.
- Proven success in building, scaling, and leading high-performing clinical operations teams.
- Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas and phases, ideally beyond traditional large CRO environments.
- Strong familiarity with modern clinical trial technologies and a passion for AI-driven digital transformation.
- Strong operational exposure to the UK and European clinical trial landscape.
Nice to have
- Experience with non-drug or phase IV studies.
