What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of first-party claims handlers to meet and exceed performance measures.
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and objective setting.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture focused on quality and accountability.
• Manage HR-related matters, including wellbeing, absence, and support improvement plans.
• Champion continuous improvement and process efficiency within the department.
• Interpret MI and use data to drive team performance and monitor claim quality.

Requirements

• People management experience is essential.
• Proven ability to influence team members through a culture of openness and trust.
• Strong, confident communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Liverpool office.
• Applicants must have at least one year remaining on their Graduate or Post-Study Work visa (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Previous motor claims experience is advantageous but not essential.
