What you will do

  • Lead the full bid lifecycle from opportunity shaping and win strategy to submission and post-bid review.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality responses under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Sector Leads to develop value propositions, executive summaries, and win themes.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities and case studies into compelling, audience-tailored copy.
  • Drive improvements in bid functions, including tools, processes, and content.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members in bid process and skill development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a bid role within the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering winning bids and working with frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, DOS, TS).
  • Expert knowledge of bidding best practices (e.g., APMP).
  • Excellent English writing skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including P&L and risk management skills.
  • Ability to manage diverse tasks and stakeholders under pressure.

Nice to have

  • APMP Practitioner or Professional certification.
  • Project management qualification.
