What you will do

• Design and execute mixed-method research to uncover user needs, behaviors, and experience patterns.
• Synthesize insights into clear frameworks to guide product direction and in-vehicle experience principles.
• Map the end-to-end vehicle rider experience journey, moving beyond individual feature analysis.
• Develop and run robust quantitative studies to establish experience benchmarks and track progress.
• Lead high-volume testing sessions within the vehicle to validate features and sync digital touchpoints with physical environments.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Vehicle Engineering to translate findings into actionable product decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX Research, HCI, Human Factors, or a related field.
• Proven proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including complex dataset analysis.
• Portfolio demonstrating research on products integrating both hardware and software touchpoints.
• Ability to manage tactical testing while maintaining a strategic, system-level perspective.
• Availability to travel 5–10% within the US to support research initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, robotics, aerospace, or specialized consumer hardware (e.g., VR/AR).
• Ability to understand engineering constraints regarding vehicle platforms, thermal systems, and motion profiles.
• Experience navigating and building alliances within large, complex organizations.
