Principal UX Researcher

TL;DR

Principal UX Researcher (Product Design): Conducting and leading qualitative and quantitative user experience research to inform and inspire product and business strategy with an accent on user needs and financial product development. Focus on designing and executing research studies, delivering actionable insights, and driving projects independently in a hybrid work environment.

Location: Hybrid with onsite presence every other week at Fidelity offices in the United States

Salary: $107,000–216,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own and prioritize research initiatives to drive user and business outcomes
• Collaborate daily with Product, Design, and Content teams to align research with key initiatives
• Scope and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies independently
• Share insights and recommendations to influence product strategy and design decisions
• Contribute to the UX Research community and improve research practices

Requirements

• Must have 7+ years of experience in UX or Design Research
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human Factors, Psychology, or related field preferred
• Proven ability to design and execute various research methods including interviews, usability testing, and surveys
• Strong communication skills to analyze and share research insights effectively
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with onsite presence every other week
