What you will do

• Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support self-service reporting.
• Build and manage Databricks notebooks and Delta tables to transform large-scale datasets into curated analytical layers.
• Lead the development of Power BI dashboards and semantic models to provide actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business SMEs to translate complex requirements into scalable data models and KPIs.
• Perform advanced data profiling and reconciliation to ensure adherence to enterprise governance and performance standards.
• Provide SME-level guidance, coaching, and conduct code reviews for internal analytics teams.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Databricks.
• Deep experience with Delta Lake architecture and notebook-based transformations.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and semantic model optimization.
• Proven track record of building data pipelines for large-scale, complex datasets.
• Previous experience in a lead or mentorship capacity.
• Must be based in or able to work in Chicago, IL.
