What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Design and develop interactive KPI scorecards adhering to modern UI/UX best practices.
• Perform ETL operations to integrate data from disparate sources while ensuring accuracy.
• Utilize Power Query to clean and transform complex datasets into optimal data models.
• Optimize SQL Server database structures to ensure rapid data retrieval.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of BI solutions through query optimization and refresh management.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Power BI Engineer or in a similar BI role.
• Mastery of the Microsoft BI Stack including SQL, Power Query, DAX, and M language.
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential for professional communication and user training.
• Strong ability to document, design, and model complex data solutions.
• Customer-focused attitude with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a STEM field is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power BI Certification.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and regulatory guidelines like FDA or Health Canada.
