What you will do

• Drive performance improvement for defined metal commodities in Japan.
• Lead purchasing activities and align the supplier panel with Global Commodity Buyers.
• Develop material purchasing strategies and conduct annual supplier negotiations to achieve saving targets.
• Manage supply chain risks and follow contract management guidelines.
• Support new project launches and handle escalations from plant, quality, and logistics functions.
• Promote supplier transfers to Low Cost Countries (LCC).

Requirements

• University Bachelor's degree or above.
• 3+ years of experience in Purchasing/Buyer roles (mandatory).
• Fluency in both English and Japanese.
• Working knowledge of business systems, specifically SAP.
• Experience in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry.
• Experience working within a global company.
