What you will do

• Lead planning and execution of complex exploration projects, including drilling campaigns and electromagnetic surveys in Finland.
• Manage procurement strategies, contractor selection, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
• Develop detailed project-level risk assessments and mitigation plans specifically for Arctic and sub-Arctic winter conditions.
• Direct all field activities, tracking production rates and forecasting spend profiles and resource requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with Finnish mining and environmental legislation and EU regulations.
• Represent the company with local stakeholders, including landowners, municipal authorities, and environmental bodies.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in field operations within mineral exploration, mining, or oil and gas.
• Advanced knowledge of Nordic winter and frozen-ground construction methodology.
• Expertise in helicopter-supported exploration and emergency response planning.
• Fluency in Finnish and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Valid First Aid Certification (Level 3 or Wilderness First Aid preferred).
• Ability to work in remote, isolated locations for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Subject matter expertise in drilling, EM surveys, or civil works.
• Material understanding of data science products and their application in exploration.
• Swedish or other Nordic language skills.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams with both Geologists and Data Scientists.
