Enterprise Account Executive, Federal Civilian Sales - Transport & Land (AI)

Location: Washington, DC; hybrid policy requiring staff to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office attendance.

Annual OTE compensation: $380,000–$450,000 USD, including base salary and target sales commissions or bonuses.

What you will do

• Drive new business, revenue growth, and adoption of safe frontier AI across federal civilian agencies, owning the sales cycle from outreach through deployment.
• Build relationships with decision-makers across agencies including DOT, USDA, HUD, and GSA, serving as a trusted advisor on AI capabilities and implementation.
• Develop strategic account plans aligned with agency missions and modernization initiatives.
• Navigate FAR compliance, security standards, agency-specific regulations, contracting vehicles, and procurement mechanisms.
• Coordinate with AWS, GCP, system integrators, GTM, product, and marketing teams to support deployment and integration.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback, create federal civilian sales playbooks, maintain engagement documentation, and help expand the federal civilian presence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of enterprise sales experience in the federal civilian space, preferably with DOT, USDA, HUD, and GSA, plus a proven record of driving adoption of emerging technologies.
• Deep understanding of federal civilian agency missions, challenges, and technology needs.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution.
• Experience navigating complex federal procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets in the federal civilian space.
• Extensive experience with federal civilian contracting vehicles and procurement mechanisms.
• Excellent relationship-building skills across technical teams and senior agency leadership.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including cloud providers and system integrators.
• Strategic thinking combined with attention to detail in execution, and the ability to articulate the importance of safe and ethical AI in government contexts.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
