Strategic Account Manager (SaaS): Managing end-to-end relationships and strategic growth for State Government and Higher Education accounts in the ANZ region with an accent on account expansion and new business acquisition. Location: Must be based in Australia (focus on NSW and QLD)

What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for large enterprise customers to identify expansion and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-level and VP executives as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and engage new teams, departments, and high-value use cases within existing accounts.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from qualification and value articulation to negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure account health and drive product adoption.
  • Develop hirify.global's brand within state government through events and industry partnerships.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in quota-carrying Account Management or Executive roles within SaaS.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets in new business acquisition and account growth.
  • Experience managing the full customer lifecycle with deals typically in the $50k-$150k+ ACV range.
  • Strong ability to communicate value effectively to diverse stakeholders and C-level executives.
  • Proficiency in structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Miller Heiman.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working with CS, Sales Engineering, and Marketing teams.
