TL;DR

Executive Producer (Gamedev): Managing live games and launching new titles within a free-to-play business model with an accent on strategic planning, team leadership, and product quality. Focus on optimizing organizational structures, driving cross-functional collaboration, and scaling mobile game success.

Location: Must be based in Austin, TX; Bay Area, CA; Carlsbad, CA; Chicago, IL; Eugene, OR; or Toronto, Canada

Salary: $170,000 – $235,000 USD / $165,000 – $210,000 CAD (depending on location)

What you will do

  • Create organizational structures and project plans to ensure high-quality delivery on time and on budget.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to drive results and proactive project outcomes.
  • Define and implement best practices across all stages of the game development lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary player advocate to ensure the ultimate quality of the product.
  • Communicate the core game experience to the broader organization and leverage shared resources for growth.
  • Navigate the game team through the entire process from concept through live operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in game development.
  • Proven track record with at least 2 shipped games as Executive Producer, Development Director, or Game Director.
  • Extensive fluency in the full game development lifecycle, from concept through live ops.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with project management tools (Jira preferred).
  • Experience with mobile games is preferred.
